The 2026 Your Local Club Regional Academy Games Golf competition will run from 17–19 April across Tamworth Golf Club and Longyard Golf Course, bringing together emerging Academy talent from across NSW.

Supported by Jack Newton Junior Golf, the event showcases the next generation of players, and highlights the strength of regional golf pathways.

Families and supporters can follow all the action with tee times and scoring accessible  throughout the tournament.

The event also provides a valuable development opportunity for coaches within the Academy system.

Friday, 17th April

  • Tamworth: First group at 10:45am
  • Longyard: First group at 10:45am

Saturday, 18th April

  • Longyard: First group at 9:00am
  • Tamworth: First group at 10:45am

Sunday, 19th April

  • Team Matches – All at Longyard
  • Start time: 8:00am

Friday & Saturday – Individual Stroke Play

  • Two rounds of individual stroke play.
  • Scores from both days are combined to determine overall individual winners.
  • Individual scores also contribute to each academy’s team total and determine seedings for Sunday’s match play.

Sunday – Team Match Play

  • Teams compete in 5 vs 5 match play over 9 holes.
  • Play begins at 8:00am across three divisions.
  • Semi-finals are played over the first 9 holes.
  • Winners progress to the Finals, played over an additional 9 holes.
