The 2026 Your Local Club Regional Academy Games Netball competition will run from 17–19 April at the Tamworth Sports Dome, bringing together emerging Academy talent from across NSW.
Supported by Netball NSW, the event showcases the next generation of players, and highlights the strength of regional netball pathways.
Families and supporters can follow all the action with live streaming available via Glory League, while scores and fixtures will be accessible through Spawtz throughout the tournament.
The event also provides a valuable development opportunity for coaches, umpires and officials within the Academy system.

The competition draw will be released two weeks prior to the event.
Format & Rules
Format
There will be 2 divisions, with games consisting of 2 x 15-minute halves (*3 minutes half time interval and 7 minutes between games). There will be a short presentation at the conclusion of games on Sunday.
Spirit of Play
All athletes and officials are expected to observe the “spirit of sport’ requirements when participating in the Games, and adhere to the Academies’ Code of Conduct. Athletes who do not observe these fundamental requirements will not be permitted to participate further in the Games.
Officials
Persons officiating during the Academy Games are doing so as Volunteers and are committed to assisting athletes enjoy their participation in the Games. Officials are to be treated at all times with courtesy and respect. Abuse of officials or volunteers will not be tolerated at any time.
Injuries
A physiotherapist and first aid person will be available at the venue and should only be accessed through your Team Manager. All injuries should be reported by athletes to Team Managers at the conclusion of their game. Team officials are responsible for the transport, treatment and care of their injured athletes.
Spectators
Please be advised that spectator seating within the complex is highly limited, with a maximum capacity of 120. There is no spectator seating available for Court 5 (middle court). Only direct supporters of teams competing on Courts 4 and 6 will be granted entry prior to each round and will be ushered in and out after each round of games. To enhance the viewing experience, we will be utilising the Glory League AV system (Tamworth Basketball) to live stream games directly to your devices.
Catering
The Tamworth Sports Dome kiosk will be open for the duration of the tournament.
